the lobster pasta is my favourite…with lobster bisque and vegetable ratatouille …

chef Gabriel’s lobster squid ink pasta of several dishes I replicate at home…

of course nothing compares to the real thing here…

a really happy and good nature mr K…

we had-

  1. wife’s tokkong salad
  2. wife’s grilled vine tomatoes & sweet corn
  3. miso teriyaki salmon belly
  4. bouillabaisse seafood stew
  5. chorizo prawns tagliatelle
  6. shellfish bisque ratatouille squid ink pasta with squid & scallops
  7. herb peanut crusted rack of lamb
  8. sulin’s excellent mirin USDA prime ribeye

wife made her tokkong salad…excellent visuals, texture and taste…

bouillabaisse was good, very tasty and flavourful and fish, squid, scallops, prawns all good, perfecto!

lamb rack was very good too, not much gamey taste and tender and sweet…the peanut crust was great…

squid ink pasta was al dente and delicious, and the sweet ratatouille enhanced the flavours.

miso teriyaki salmon the usual good dish…& Sulin’s mirin steak was excellent!

WT bought 5pax OPS buddies lunch @ 湘香on 12.5.2021.^^

I came here after delivery HCA Hospice Care lunch

food was good..dishes all good restaurant standard.


we picked patin for 重庆烤鱼 not the usual seabass…dish was tasty & “pang” flavourful quite oily..very good standard

for me overall still ming tang 重庆烤鱼 better equally tasty & “pang”..not so oily like here or other places..can drink & I do drink the soup 😀

pig ear was good standard.. 干锅vegetables pot on the lighter taste side, fresh & crunchy..

the 蟹粉tanhoon prawns was excellent! very tasty lots of haebee..second best dish for me after 重庆烤鱼

romaine lettuce 油麦菜was very good..

the lamb dish was competent i guess..it is flavourful but tough ..老old..maybe typical of this preparation so not a dish i would order..unlike say 羊蝎子which is tender and tasty..

this a restaurant I will come again just for a different taste of重庆烤鱼..

for value..the same lunch would cost like S$60 & I actually like the dish better than here…so generally will go there…

after lunch HC bought coffee at toastbox bugis junction.

had a great time with good buddies today.
