I made the other prawns, flamed sous vide aussie pork tomahawk, & rack of lamb, wenyu cooked the tochigi Jap A5 wagyu from meatlovers
a most joyous and wonderful family dinner and birthday celebrations for sulin.

this my 115th friday breakfast community meal dish at teban gardens community service centre, 6th time on restart after a 2 year hiatus due to covid.
the centre was started in 2002 after much effort & challenge by our RI friend who is a pastor of pasir panjang hill brethren church (pphbc) which owns & runs the CSC.
i first started doing a community meal dish for teban gardens CSC on 8.1.2016.
I started cook a dish for teban gardens on friday unless i am traveling or otherwise indisposed. when I started cooking for HCA, this was reduced to 2 times a month (also 2times a month for HCA) so not overstretching my resources…

we had fish & chips, truffle chicken, cajun chicken & prawn & mushrooms mentaiko pasta
food ok la..
fish & chips and chicken quite ok passable, mentaiko pasta way, way below par, presentation not good looked like carbonara, quite tasteless & frozen prawns not done well grilled would be better than boiled or steamed..
after lunch hian hai bought kopi and we talked till past 3pm…
very nice lunch and afternoon with old pals and bros…

brother’s steamed crab always good…matter of getting good meaty crabs..he goes to Jurong East market regularly and has good supplier..
prawns, shells and cuttlefish kang kong all good.
and fish head was very good. slightly fried and steamed…

aussie pork ribs so good..more marbling and tasty…though it is true not all aussie pig are castrated unlike Indonesian and hence have “boar taint”…but this bit no smell leh..
my 白斩鸡& chicken rice always good, especially with homemade chilli..very nice
蒜泥白肉 today mala hawthorn sauce a bit dilute & not thickened enuf…added some more when finishing haha!
hwa garden style claypot garoupa fish head a bit mediocre mainly the gravy need to improve the taste
sambal Kang kong quite standrad..good taste…
nice 哥们lunch with good friends and bros。。
