wenyu picked up from don signature crab the lala beehoon, crab beehoon and chilli crab
& ervin collected other dishes salted egg sotong, chicken wings, yangzhou fried rice from serangoon central zichar.
Linda baked the chocolate tart and kueh bingo ubi..very nice indeed! 🙂

- bbq sotong always good,
- claypot live soon hock expensive but nice not really better than hk steamed but a different preparation,
- bbq honey ribs was really good falling off the bones but not sinewy with residue..& very tasty flavours..
- lala white beehoon & 3 eggs spinach good too👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

this my 112nd friday breakfast community meal dish at teban gardens community service centre, 3rd time on restart after a 2 year hiatus due to covid.
the centre was started in 2002 after much effort & challenge by our RI friend who is a pastor of pasir panjang hill brethren church (pphbc) which owns & runs the CSC.
i first started doing a community meal dish for teban gardens CSC on 8.1.2016.
I started cook a dish for teban gardens on friday unless i am traveling or otherwise indisposed. when I started cooking for HCA, this was reduced to 2 times a month (also 2times a month for HCA) so not overstretching my resources…
had kopi with kok fai afterwards…

really nice enjoyable dinner with good friends & bros….missing hak chong…
chicken rice and char siew the usual good standard…
cheow ghee especially like the new dish sliced fish thick beehoon soup. basically similar as zichar dish…a very tasty fish head fish bones stock added evaporate milk and poached sliced toman fillet. 蒜泥白肉good as usual. steamed fish head was good just not that much meat…need bigger head.
poached kaolin can be improved. basically to manage freshness and not overcooked for a vegetable dish precooked couple hours before dinner.

Thank CUTE, Ser Khoon for the sumptuous meal … Wai Mun, Wen Tong, Choon Hung for the ‘side dishes’ (hope I didn’t miss out anyone else) … and everyone onboard for the fun, joy and reminiscence.

I love my premium chirashi every time …chong lee chose to have the unagi & majuro sashimi, and take sonomono side dish.
really enjoyable lunch with an old pal. so many memories.
cheok mung and I celebrated chon glee’s 60th birthday in wales in 2018, scaling Wales’ tallest peak mt snowdon! actually only 1085m la and we did it in 7hrs return.
we had nice dinner at the royal victorian hotel…and food was great just that we kena booked and fined £60 though we paid the full day parking at the open carpark. should have just driven 50m over to the hotel!
had piccolo latte & cappuccino at tiong hoe afterwards.
