after that we went to old airport road fc for the best chendol.

my old friend of 30yrs+ couple KH & L came for dinner on 3.9.2020.^^
I find it more efficient cooking & delivering dinner to my brother & doing a dinner for a close friend couple..
eg i cooked one whole 白斩鸡, delivered 1/2 to brother and keep 1/2 for dinner.
son & daughter joined dinner so we had 6pax.
6pax dinner menu
- half 白斩鸡 （other half delivered to my brother)
- 三葱斑柳sliced garoupa with yellow onions,leek &spring onions
- 金银蒜蒸鳕鱼 garlic steamed cod fish
- sambal fried spinach
- chicken rice
all the dishes quite perfect this evening..chicken rice also very tasty flavourful this evening food, rice all finished.
wife organised 8pax dinner. son joined dinner on 2.9.2020.^^

it was an delicious dinner, wonderful evening with friends.
the canapes and tapas all very good, except the lamb rack which was undercooked (forogot about bringing fully to room temp before oven cooking). this was rescued with panfrying.
& the flamed squid on cauliflower puree, lobster squidink pasta and wife’s mirin ribeye steak were all excellent, top draw dishes which everyone enjoyed.
