made cnonya curry chicken for teban gardens community breakfast this morning on 26.4.2019.^^
i cook a dish for teban gardens every friday unless i am traveling or otherwise indisposed.
this my 90th friday breakfast community meal dish at teban gardens community service centre.
i first started doing a community meal dish for teban gardens CSC on 8.1.2016.
the centre was started in 2002 after much effort & challenge by our RI friend who is a pastor of pasir panjang hill brethren church (pphbc) which owns & runs the CSC.
i just used one packet of mak’s nonya curry sauce and 2kg cut chicken and about 6 potatoes maybe 800g.
i defrost, cut and dry 2kg of boneless chicken thighs, then marinated with mak’s nonya curry sauce overnight in the fridge.
i fried and cooked chicken about 5-6mins in the morning.
removed chicken and cooked potatoes, about 10mins, till potatoes break when pressed against the side of the wok.
then added back the chicken and mixed.
off fire and transferred to aluminium carrier.
i left in 40degC oven to keep warm.
when transporting, i put on aluminium foil and delivered to teban gardens.
