chirashi don just 5 pieces sashimi- hamachi, maguro, salmon, hotate, amaebi plus a tamago..not very thin not thick cut either..vinegared rice ok..

bara chirashi don even less..2 amaebi & not much cheap cuts..

the $6 ebi furai & $5.50 squid (as good as calamari) were good though 👍🏻👍🏻

oyster was good.. bonito soup kind of irrelevant..any miso soup, clear soup or asari soup be better since not dobinmushi

sashimi platter good standard, otoro, salmon, kampachi, tai..

2 cooked dishes pretty good too..

potato croquette nicely done..the crisp unagi item a bit fishy..still nice..

sushi & mini barachirashi don both good..like the don better..

yuzu jelly was refreshing..

overall a good quality lunch omakase for $68pax..

had another really shiok, exquisite dinner with lisa @ 8picure on 28.9.2021.^^

every dish simply delicious! 🙂

we took the superb S$108 4-course special set

and added Galician octopus, lobster squid ink pasta and ohmi A4 wagyu for 2pax sharing.

this new set was excellent!

hotate curry cauliflower gazpacho is new, and I recreate this several times myself…love the dish the combination of texture and delicious taste.

the crabmeat tagliolini was good…of course we always love chef Gabriel’s exquisite lobster squid ink pasta better…this the best we had anywhere!

the venison was excellent though not quite fair comparison with ohmi wagyu…but it was really best in its own right…

& the mocha pan cotta…chef Gabriel’s dessert – every single one is good!

& his Galician octopus, one of the best there is!

surprisingly good was really good quite excellent!

sumin ordered the 4 dishes $68 bundle & added $32 octopus and $22 chicken the octopus was best!

excellently done as good as any we had..

chicken was very good very tenderthe

$68 bundle was really value for money..

ceviche very good,

fish soup was good too.

fried rice very good and I liked the light coconut dessert..

can definitely order again..
