we got to central pier 4 earlier this time.
& took the 1010am ferry to yung shue wan 榕树湾 lama island 南丫岛, arriving about 1040am on 4.6.2015.
there were bicycles chained to the jetty railings. 🙂

there was fei kee the ah ma tau huay on the way to hung shing ye beach 洪聖爺灣泳灘.
there were no customers & the deep container she dished the tau huay from was 1/2 empty.
i asked the lady & she honestly replied it was from yesterday.
i took about 1/3. a bit scared.
anyway, texture taste was ok, but for me the one at choy kee 蔡记 was much better than this recommended one.
there is a public beach hung shing ye beach 洪聖爺灣泳灘 on the way to suk ku wan.
after that we walked some paved paths uphill.
it was not steep, but still tiring under the scorching sun.
looking in the direction we came, there was a great view of the lamma power station.
there was a bit of walking along the hill paths.
we came to the area with a clear view of the unloading jetty and suk ku wan 索罟灣.
there is a pavilion with view of the suk ku wan 索罟灣 jetty & village.
a downhill path to suk ku wan 索罟灣 jetty & village.
we passed by the tin hau temple天后宫. they were having a huge tin hau festival celebrations with a cantonese opera 仙姬送子. we stayed for a while to watch.
we passed by the few seafood restaurants at suk ku wan 索罟灣. it was about 3pm
the seafood prices were not cheap.
certainly not what i would recommend in hong kong where everywhere you turn to, there is cheap & good food. ^^
