food way below par..limited choice ..local set no laksa nasi lemak nasi padang etc.. would save cost & deliver better breakfast if hotel just order in from crave or some local breakfast vendors lol!

wife booked 2 days staycation at RWS equarius..on 8.2.2022.^^

there are 8 hotels on RWS…

big spacious room with view of adventure cove, cable cars, jardin step, vivo…

equarius is more resort hotel over a sprawling compound…

after check in we went to Malaysian Chiak near the casino past hotel michael

we shared a kl black hokkien mee..like udon quite tasty texture good ingredients few for $8

only few stalls like 1/2 open..seems they quite crowded during weekends when attractions open

this a pisan italian restaurant

food was excellent..much better than expected..

they allow us to order 1 $128 5-course set & 1 alacarte..the wine pairing 4 wines for $58 also reasonable

for alacarte we ordered the mushroom tea..this superb intense fungi veloute.almost as good as chef andre jaan eons back..very very flavourful umami soup

& the cod..very sweet flaky tender with a spicy tomato sauce..

for the set the burrata was delightful & the tomato seafood impregnated haha! focaccia was good standard too..

the best dish was the lobster fusili in cream safron sauce..really delicious dish so tasty & smooth & the fusili (supposedly like 7 storied Pisa tower) was aldente &superb ..

for main we chose venison since we ordering cod alacarte..

it was very good actually just overshadowed by the cod & lobster cream safron fusili..

I am going to do these few dishes for our valentine dinner next week

dessert was good competent..

the strawberry mousse cake was complimentary for the occasion

the service was outstanding by every of the server..friendly helpful & conversational..very good plus the complimentary cake..

sharing the 1 set plus 2 alacarte dishes was perfect..no need overeat & tasting more great dishes

every dish was good..so worth the $65++pax price

burrata with at Daniel prosciutto was excellent

i loved my tripe in tomato sauce..perfect texture & delicious

oysters were small fresh nice ponzu jelly

laksa spring rolls unique & tasty

for mains, the miso king salmon was excellent..the rice ikura & pickles made the dish perfect

iberico presa was very good very tender & sweet

wagyu burger all good

& we loved the panna cotta

really lovely lunch..
