beef horfun & pig innards soup

hand itchy bought 2 groupons for a-one claypot the other day, S$26 for S$50 voucher, expiring soon.

starvista quite convenient for me, so when a friend suggested 3pax lunch, we decided to go a-one claypot at starvista on 29.12.2016. ^^

beef horfun

there was a carb eater young man among us, so i ordered a beef horfun.

it was quite well done actually. good wok hae for hor fun. beef was tender not too artificial & dish was tasty. 🙂

pig innards soup

they sell bakuteh here, so the pig innard soup base is the quite light, tasty, fragrant bkt soup, not the ter huan kiam chai soup. this was good too.

cuttlefish & sliced fish congee 艇仔粥

& we had the cuttlefish & pig innards soup 艇仔粥, another carb dish that i don’t mind.

it’s not the usual hong kong congee preparation, which is totally smooth.

a mix of teochew which is grainy but not much taste, and the hk style. so this was grainy but very sweet & tasty. not bad though i prefer the hk smooth style.

ikan bilis heng chai

the 3 dishes made up only S$44, so we ordered a heng chai. this came with ikan bilis, a good tasty dish.

lunch 4 dishes for 3pax was like S$58nett, so i topped up S$8, plus S$26 for voucher, that’s S$34nett, not bad la….
