Nice Coffee & Pastry & Breakfast Place @ Tiong Bahru Bakery on 22Mar2016

a RI friend organised a 8pax “eat-about” on 22.3.2016. ^^

we started with breakfast & coffee at tiong bahru bakery.

then went for early lunch at loo’s hainanese curry rice nearby.

after that we had the hawker centre coffee at tiong bahru food centre.

& the we bought some cakes + lim lam hong angku kueh & came to my place for another cuppa.

i say – this tiong bahru bakery really crowded! 🙂

must say that the plain croissant is one of the best i had. 🙂

flaky outside soft inside & nice buttery flavour.

not so hot on the almond croissant.

there were some promotion …i think its about S$2.50 each.

and the coffee is good here!

pastry stuff not top of my list, but i quite happy to have a nice cuppa & chat with good friends. ambience wise it is no better than any of the good coffee places.

after a relaxed coffee chat, we walked over to loo’s hainanese curry rice for the second part of our “eat-about”,

we decided to have the 1 for 1 feuillete (1 curry chicken pie & 1 tuna pie) for S$3.60, a scrambled egg croissant sandwich for S$2.90, and 1 caramel latte + 1 normal latte for S$7.90 = S$17nett.

the feuillete or pies were pretty good, coffee too. the croissant was tasty. 🙂

the discounts were not much, still coffees alone can be quite ex, so it’s good we gotten some discounts. i hardly do such breakfast (or breakfast at all), anyway it was pretty ok.
