after the enjoyable hainanese curry rice, we walked over to beo crescent food centre next door.
my friend bought a S$2.50 lor mee to share, just for me to try out the food. 🙂
soon heng is a popular stall also.
it was like 11.30am so the food centre still not very crowded yet. 🙂
the lor mee presentation was quite good.
ingredients were good especially the crisp bits, and substantial.
the gluey broth was tasty unlike the very so-so lor mee at hock lye at ghim moh food centre. almost too obvious when you compare the photos.
didn’t think it was better than the hai tang lor mee at mei ling centre though.
in fact i think hai tang is probably better but i have to try that again, good excuse to anyway…lol! ^^
